    • Heating Questions

What is the life expectancy of my HVAC system?

How often you run your system, the system’s age, its make and model, and whether or not it was serviced regularly over the course of its life can all play a significant role in how long your system will last approximately 15 years.

Do you provide free estimate on repairs?

We will always check with you (the customer) on the pricing of a repair before any work is done.

What is the difference between a free estimate and diagnostic?

A diagnostic will come with a charge because you are asking us as an expert to diagnose what is wrong with your system. As apposed to an estimate which you are inquiring about a new system.

How much is your diagnostic fee and what does it cover?

A diagnostic fee for us is the same as a service call so it is the same price - $100.

Can my diagnostic fee be applied toward the cost of my repair?

Your diagnostic fee will always be included in your price of repair. Again we always check with you before any work is done.

How long are your time frames? Why are they so long and can you provide a more accurate time?

Unfortunately depending on what is wrong with your system (Which we will diagnose when we get there) your time frame of arrival / repair can vary quite significantly depending on the issue. This is why it is so hard in the HVAC industry to accurately provide time frames.

    What services do you provide?

We provide installation and repair of almost any and all residential and light commercial HVAC systems. We also can install gas lines and ductwork.

What is included in your maintenance package?

Our maintenance program includes 15% off any repair as well as two system checkups and cleanings per year, usually done in the Spring and the Fall to prepare for heating and cooling.
